This is one of my favorite city maps....This city was built in the northern wetlands, so there is much more water within the city. Traveling through the city the fastest and best way to get from island to island is to use the canals within. This is loosely modeled like Venice Italy. On each island there are dark brown squares which is basically the islands' ports for transport around the city.

Originally this city was named Kay. During the first few years of the citys' settlement the land was in a drought. Thinking that was the way the land was all the time, permanent buildings were erected in what is now the commercial forum. When the rains came back, it flooded the area, the only land above the water was a small hill where a family called Lass had a small farm. The family saved all the settlers in the area, allowing them to sit on their land, and feeding them all the livestock on their farm. The family went out for another sweep in their boat, but hit a rock and sank, and the family was swept downstream and never heard from again. In tribute to the familys' sacrifice, the city added La to the end of the citys' name, and creating a park on the hill of the farm.
